FROM MELBOURNE (approx 3.5 hrs)
Take the Western Highway passing through Ararat and Stawell.
After passing through Stawell, continue along the Western Highway. Approx. 17km from Dadswells Bridge turn left onto the Northern Grampians Rd which leads into Wartook Valley. Kangaroos in the Top Paddock is the last property on the right as you leave the Valley and enter the National Park.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take the Henty Highway (A200) north towards Horsham. You get spectacular views of the Grampians as you drive along the highway. At Brimpaen (approximately 88 km from Hamilton) turn right (east) on to the Brimpaen-Laharum Road (big Grampians Sign) and travel about 15km to a “T” intersection with the Northern Grampians Road. Turn right (south ) and travel about 11km to Kangaroos in the Top Paddock which is on the right.
NB. A slightly longer scenic route is to take the scenic Henty Highway via Dunkeld and Cavendish.
FROM ADELAIDE (approx 5 hrs)
Travel from Adelaide on the road to Melbourne leaving South Australia just east of Bordertown. The road is now called Western Highway, and goes through Kaniva, Nhill, Dimboola and on to Horsham.
Horsham is the last major town before reaching Wartook Valley and is a good place to buy provisions.
From Horsham travel along the Western Highway for approx. 15km and then turn right onto the Northern Grampians Road which will lead you into Wartook Valley and Top Paddock (approx. 30km).
